Yesterday, many officials to include Mayor Karl Dean, Adventure Science Center CEO Susan Duvenhage, Ralph Shultz, Senator Thelma Harper, State Representative Mary Pruitt, Senator Douglas Henry, Councilman-at-large Ronnie Steine, Councilman Phil Claiborne, Councilwoman Sandra Moore, Councilman Robert Duvall, Councilman Duane Dominy, various Corporate Executives and CEO's, the Sudekem family, MNPS teachers, The Honorable Phil Ponder and Brenda Wynn, and fellow Adventure Science Center Board Members got to take a sneak preview of the new Sudekem Planetarium and Space Exhibit Wing. This was truly a sight to see. The show called stars in the 21.4 million dollar space really took us through an adventurous experience. Very exciting. The new center officially opens this Saturday with the public opening/ribbon cutting at 9:45 a.m. I encourage all of Nashville's children and families to come out to experience this center which is the only one of its kind in the United States and one of four internationally.
Pictures include Councilman Robert Duvall and his grandson and Councilman Duane Dominy and his daughter testing the new space adventure exhibits.
I see in our horizon future Scientists from Nashville.
The children of Nashville will simply love this!
