- Karen Y. Johnson
- I am Karen Y. Johnson, School Board Member for District 6 which includes Nashville, Antioch, Una, Priest Lake, Hickory Hollow and Cane Ridge. Originally from the beautiful hometown of Montgomery, Alabama; married to David and proud mother of two young men Chris and Jon and stepson David all graduates of MNPS; Outreach Director for the Governor's Books from Birth Foundation for the State of Tennessee; and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church under the ministry of Bishop Dr. Joseph Warren Walker III.

Tennessee School Bus Driver Appreciation Week is October 20-24 in recognition of the importance these men and women play in the safe transportation of Tennessee students. Tennessee school bus drivers drive hundreds of thousands of Tennessee youth to and from school each day, as well as to sporting events, field trips and other extracurricular activities. They are entrusted with the safety of this state’s most precious resource – its children.
