REMINDER: NashvilleNext Speakers' Series-April 8: "Creating Livable and Healthy Communities through Retrofitting Suburbia"

Ellen Dunham-Jones, professor of architecture at Georgia Tech, will speak at 5:30 pm Monday, April 8, in Laskey Hall at Scarritt-Bennett Center, 1008 19th Avenue South.
Reminder: If your schedule can accommodate or if you know someone who can attend this session with NASHVILLENEXT, please try to attend. I was able to attend this session with alot of Metro Council members early this morning and the information is extremely helpful for suburban area's like ours. 
"Retrofitting Suburbia"
How can we make fading suburbs more livable and sustainable? Ellen Dunham-Jones, professor of architecture at Georgia Tech, will discuss some of the possibilities at 5:30 pm Monday, April 8, in Laskey Hall at Scarritt-Bennett Center, 1008 19th Avenue South.
This will be the fifth of seven scheduled events in the NashvilleNext Speaker Series; NashvilleNext is a community-driven process toward a new countywide plan which will guide growth, development, and preservation through 2040.
