The 1st Annual Independence Day Celebration for SE Nashville/Davidson County will take place on Wednesday, July 3rd - in the East side of  the Global Mall at the Crossings (f/n/a Hickory Hollow Mall).  There will be room for lawn chairs and blankets in designated areas around the old JC Penney and Macy's areas.  (there will be guides present to ensure all open areas are easily accessible)
There will be entertainment, food trucks and food vendors, ice cream and cotton candy vendors, face painting and glow sticks for kids. The Global Mall at the Crossings now has five great restaurants open in the Food Court and this will be open for anyone to go inside and eat and cool off.  Festivities begin at 6:00 p.m. and the fireworks show, produced by Pyro Shows (the same company that produces the fireworks downtown on Thursday evening and for the CMA's) will begin at dusk, approximately 9:00 p.m.  tonight!

Crossings Nashville Action Partnership, Inc. (CNAP) is a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization formed in February 2010, to enhance the area known as Crossings Nashville in the Southeast section of Davidson County, Tennessee.  Donations to CNAP are not tax deductible.
